What counts as an interior office sign?
Interior office signs are any signage installed inside your workplace — reception logo walls, boardroom and office door plates, directories, and the wayfinding that gets visitors from the lift to the right desk. Because these custom signs rarely face weather, they can use lighter materials, finer detail and finishes that wouldn’t survive outdoors, which usually makes them faster to build.
Most office fit-outs draw from four families. Which one is right depends on your wall, your lighting and how often the content changes:
- → Acrylic interior office signs — laser-cut acrylic logos and letters on standoffs, the modern reception standard
- → Interior office sign frames — snap frames and insert holders for names, rooms and notices
- → Door plates & room IDs — boardrooms, offices, amenities and meeting rooms in a matched finish
- Wayfinding & directories — floor directories and directional arrows colour-matched to your main sign

Frequently asked questions

Most acrylic reception signs run $900–$2,200 depending on size, colour and mounting. Door plate and sign frame sets start around $350, and full fit-outs with wayfinding from $2,800. You’ll get an itemised fixed quote with your free mockup.
Laser-cut acrylic letters or panels in any Pantone-matched colour, usually mounted on polished standoffs so they float slightly off the wall. Acrylic is the lightest and most budget-friendly interior option, and because it never faces weather it keeps its colour and gloss for years.
A frame holds a printed insert behind clear acrylic — snap frames hinge open, slide-in holders load from the side. When a name, room use or notice changes, you print a new insert for cents instead of buying a new sign. We supply editable insert templates with every frame order.
Most office orders take 7–14 business days from mockup approval. Large multi floor wayfinding suites can take up to 3 weeks. Your fixed quote includes a committed build date.
Yes, acrylic is cut from Pantone-matched stock or spray-finished to your brand code, and printed inserts are colour-managed against the same reference. Send your brand guidelines with your logo and the mockup will show the exact match.
Most shopfront halo-lit signs run $1,200-$2,800 depending on size, material and lighting. Small non-illuminated indoor logos start around $450. You’ll get an itemised fixed quote with your free mockup – see the pricing section above for a full breakdown.
No — signage inside your own premises never requires council approval. Building management approval may apply in some commercial towers for lobby signage, which we can help document
